Design & Technology

Here at Greenfields our Design and Technology units deliver the aims and objectives of the National Curriculum Program of Study for Key Stages 1&2.  

We believe that a high-quality Design Technology education will engage, inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works.  As pupils progress through each unit we will encourage them to think critically, develop their understanding of the design and make process and evaluate the effectiveness of their product.  We want our children to understand that they are making a product that will do something for someone (user/purpose). Where appropriate our children may also reflect on how D.T. has shaped our history.
