Here at Greenfields we believe that learning a foreign language can enrich the life and experience of our children and we offer French as our Modern Foreign Language.  

Although the National Curriculum requires 1 foreign language to be taught in Key Stage 2 we offer this opportunity to all of our children from Early Years, right through to Year 6.  

We use the Primary Languages Network scheme of work and this allows children to hear native French speakers which enhances their enjoyment and learning experience.  Our lessons take the form of games, songs and stories as well as opportunities to converse in French.
